Advanced Mobile Vet: Equine Dentistry House Calls in Central FL

Advanced Mobile Vet provides dental care and other services for your horse.  Although we are based in Lake Mary, we provide mobile vet service to in Seminole, Volusia, Orange, and East Lake Counties.

Dr. Ariel Smith has been involved with horses since the age of 10 via 4-H, the United States Pony Club, the American Paint Horse Association, and other organizations. She was president of the University of Florida Equestrian club, and holds her doctorate from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.

Most importantly, Dr. Smith is a horse lover who will show your horse the loving care it deserves!

Your Horse's Dental Needs

Every horse should ideally have its teeth checked for burrs and other issues at least once every year. Most horses need their teeth "floated," filed down so that there are no burrs that cause your horse pain, or create difficulty for it to hold a bit in its mouth.

This regular dental care helps your horse avoid dental problems that can cause it pain while eating. Having its teeth floated will also ensure your horse is able to grind its food more thoroughly. This makes your horse happier and healthier, aids in digestion, improves general health, and can even improve your horse's life span!

Advanced Mobile Vet uses power-cleaning tools that let us pay special attention to each tooth, making sure it doesn't have any burrs and that it is otherwise nice and smooth. By using high-quality tools, the highest level of veterinary skill, and genuine care, we can be accurate and treat each tooth individually. That makes for a happy mouth, which makes for a happy horse!

Dr. Smith and her staff are dedicated to keeping your horse safe. Proper sedation. solid equipment, and modern mouth specula create a safe care environment. Combined with skill and a caring touch, equine dental is care safe, gentle, and low-stress for both you and your horse.
